I just dropped my parents off after a week of showing my parents around Seattle and Vancouver, BC. I ate quite a bit of bad food, drank a decent amount of alcohol, and now as I have bit them farewell and life returns to normal it’s time to jump back onto this fitness and weight loss train full force.
Following in Ben Davis footsteps, I came home from dropping off my parents at the airport and immediately kicked off a rather warm and short run to get things started. 82 degrees fahrenheit (pretty warm for the Northwest) and the fact I hadn’t really done any sort of physical activity since the half marathon on June 21st I faded pretty quickly.
None the less it felt great to be back running again useful content. Tomorrow morning I will jump back on the bike for my 3 mile commute in and back from work.
